You can download and use the older version of QuickBooks Desktop at your convenience by getting in touch with the team. 

The US website only offers QuickBooks Premier Plus 2023 and QuickBooks Enterprise Plus 2023 in the "QuickBooks Desktop" section. This forced subscription model, combined with the price increase, has caused me to look at all other alternatives. My customers are resistant to this upgrade, as they use QuickBooks simply because their CPA requires it- they'd leave their CPAs before paying $800 a year for the software. As for any Team Member touting new features like 64-bit processing power - one of my clients recently got a brand new laptop and upgraded to 2022 Desktop Pro Plus, yet QB keeps crashing and won't play nice with Adobe or Outlook, so emailing invoices is a nightmare.
